LAKESHORE LEARNING SOLUTIONS

Lakeshore Learning Solutions was created in 1996 after the owner's daughter struggled in elementary and middle school with spelling and remembering simple tasks.  With a high IQ, reading profusely, and amazing creativity, her child could not spell!  After being tested and being diagnosed with dyslexia, Mrs. McDonald, an elementary teacher, set out to learn everything she could about dyslexia.  What she learned from those tutoring her child and her research led her to become an advocate for her child and students.  Determined to make a difference in the lives of these children, she began her training and quest for change.  She continues to work to provide strategies for struggling readers.
